This would be gently structured so that we focus on the chosen subject. A
member volunteers in advance to lead on a theme - maybe a social issue, maybe a
cultural, philosophical, humorous or other subject. We can discuss anything you
like! The volunteer introduces the item, speaking for no more than ten minutes,
and then it will be opened out to the group for more in-depth exploration and
discussion. This approach can be adapted as the group develops according to
members’ wishes, and potentially could meet once a month on a Friday morning at
a suitable cafe or hostelry.
