Did you know that the first definition of "a quiz" was an odd or eccentric person, or someone with a peculiar or ridiculous appearance. If you knew that, or you feel that you are a better person for knowing it now, then you would be right at home in our Quiz group.

The u3a Quiz Group runs a monthly face to face quiz for members. We have our own quiz masters who take it in turns to set around seven rounds of general knowledge questions each meeting to test the knowledge of those present. We don’t have fixed teams so anyone is welcome to turn up and join in the head-scratching whilst also enjoying a cup of tea and a biscuit. It’s all very relaxed and we are all there to have fun – not to find out who the cleverest person is!
