About us
We are a friendly group, open to anyone who enjoys gardening and takes inspiration from visiting gardens, for novice and experienced gardeners alike.
From spring to autumn we aim to visit at least one garden per month, both locally and further afield, including our own members’ gardens and those open to the public. We occasionally visit specialist nurseries, and garden centres in winter for a chat over a coffee and to exchange ideas about all things gardening. Plant and seed swaps are also arranged during the growing season. Suggestions from members are welcome.
Many of our garden visits incur a charge, payable directly to the garden. Car sharing is encouraged, and we will try to arrange lifts for those without transport.
