Tetbury & District u3a has purchased a digital projector, visualiser, and screen kit. You may find it very useful for making presentations or demonstrating photos, images etc on a laptop, tablet or phone screen to a larger audience.

The kit comprises:

• An 80” (diagonal) projector screen with stand
• A digital LED projector with in-built loudspeakers and wi-fi. The projector is bright enough to be used in a lit room. The speakers can be used as a Bluetooth speaker for music etc.
• A visualiser - a visualiser is a camera which connects to a laptop to display an image of an object onto a laptop and then it can be projected onto the large screen. Ideal for books, photos, diagrams, paintings (up to A4 size) and small 3D objects.
• A projector stand
• A laser presenter/pointer for hands free running of Powerpoint slides etc.
• A 5m AC power extension reel
• All the cables required to connect the projector to a laptop, tablet or phone (using HDMI or USB C output on the device). Note the projector can also be ‘cast’ to via wi-fi like a TV screen.
• The kit comes in two carry bags, one for the screen and one for all the other equipment.
