About us

We do short walks of about 2.5-4.0 miles on the first Thursday of the month leaving at 10.00am and the third Friday of the month, leaving at 1.30pm.

Walks typically last 1.5 to 2 hrs.

We meet locally, but often drive to the start of the walk, usually up to 20 mins away. We car share where possible to minimise parking at the start of the walk.

Our walks are not strenuous but may have short, uphill bits and minimum stiles; we do not walk fast.

Our aims:
* to get some fresh air and appreciate the countryside;
* to get some exercise;
* to have a chat and enjoy each other's company.

There are usually between 8-16 on each walk.
