During the fifteenth century under the brothers, Leonello, Borso and Ercole, Ferrara enjoyed peace and prosperity, and became home to one of the greatest courts of renaissance Italy. Using the evidence of Art and Architecture we will explore the history of the d’Este and the city from 1393 to 1597 and the end of d’Este rule.
